Prof. Jesus Labarta from BSC attended the Open Source Summit and held a presentation titled “The RISC-V vector processor in EPI”.

EPI team participated in several activities in Digital HiPEAC 2021 conference: EPI Tutorial, Industrial session, and WRC workshop.

Mateo Valero and John Davis from BSC participated in the Russian SC Days, where prof. Valero presented a talk titled “Designing and Building Supercomputers @ BSC”.

At the 2nd TA visitors meeting, John Davis from BSC held a keynote titled: LOCA: Embracing Open Source Hardware to create an Open Source Ecosystem.

This workshop was organized in the context of the “Centre of Excellence in Simulation of Weather and Climate in Europe” (ESiWACE) phase 2 and it brought together experts on Machine Learning, Exascale hardware and Programming Models at a virtual event using video conference software.
