Emerging Technologies for Weather and Climate Modelling workshop

Emerging Technologies for Weather and Climate Modelling workshop was held online on Tuesday 30th June 2020. The workshop was organized under the EU Centre of Excellence in Simulation of Weather and Climate in Europe. The aim of the workshop was to bring together experts from academia and industry to discuss emerging technologies in areas such as exascale hardware developments, programming models, and hardware interplay, for exascale systems, beyond "MPI+X" and developments in Machine Learning, addressing both computational and data challenges.
EPI's Jean-Marc Denis presented a talk related to the Exascale hardware topic addressing the aim of the workshop, while Jesus Labarta discussed EPAC accelerator in EPI.
