EPI’s Jean-Marc Denis, presented a talk titled “European Processor Initiative: the place where ARM and RISC-V live in peace”, while other EPI partners also attended and participated in the panel regarding this topic.
EPI was present at Europa Village, a virtual Teratec Forum exhibition this year. Fabrizio Magugliani from E4 presented the latest in EPI news at the European Research Session.
João Domingos (INESC-ID&IST) presented at ISCA 2021 a paper titled “Unlimited Vector Extension with Data Streaming Support.”

Mario Kovač from UNIZG held a presentation titled “European Processor Initiative: Cornerstone of European HPC and eHPC strategy” and Benoît Dupont de Dinechin from Kalray held a presentation titled “Engineering a Manycore Processor for Accelerated Edge Computing.”
Mario Brčić from UNIZG held a presentation, including EPI activities in Croatian NCC.
Kalray’s Sébastien Le Duc held a presentation on Karlay’s activities at IWOCL and explained also how it pertains to EPI.
EPI’s Benedetta Mazzoni from UNIBO, Daniele Cesarini from CINECA, and Fabrizio Magugliani from E4 held a Science Day session with the topic HW/SW co-design for Energy Efficiency and Performance: Charting the Path towards Exascale Computing.
