Microsoft Research Cambridge organized a workshop where PhD students working on topics relevant to the next-generation cloud infrastructure in Europe are invited to participate. During this two-day workshop, the students had the opportunity to present their work to Microsoft researchers, learn about the research MSR Cambridge lab is working on, and discuss the future of the cloud. EPI’s Enrico Reggiani from Barcelona Supercomputing Center participated and presented the EPI poster.

EPI team attended this year’s European Forum for Electronic Components and Systems in Helsinki, Finland. EPI exhibited posters and other materials at its booth, receiving many interested visitors and attendees.

EPI team attended the Supercomputing conference in Denver, with its own exhibition booth and four more shared partners’ booths exhibiting EPI materials. In addition to that, EPI representatives held several presentations and invited talks:

At the Arm User Group meeting, Yingchih Yang from Atos presented the EPI Design Updated, while Dirk Pleiter from Julich presented “Linear algebra on Arm-based platforms: From Neon to SVE”. EPI Chairman of the Board, Jean-Marc Denis attended the ETP4HPC BoF with an invited talk, and also the ASC HPC Connection Workshop with a talk titled “Recent Developments on EPI Program”.

EPI’s partners FORTH and BSC attended the HiPEAC Computer Systems Week in Bilbao, Spain, and presented EPI flyers and posters to interested attendees.
